Shane and Ian recently painted our kitchen/dining/living, and family room. While it was mostly Ian doing the painting, Shane was there at the start of each day to check on the work and touch base with us. The team were thoughtful about not disrupting our family too much and worked around our morning schedule. Shane is friendly and honest - we chose Colourhomes over another ever so slightly cheaper quote as we just really liked his personality and that matters when someone is in your house all week! I engaged Colour Homes to undertake some essential paint maintenance tasks around my house, including repainting two sets of wooden window frames and a peeling lead-painted wall, and touching up bare patches in weatherboards and other timber parts of the house. It was “bitsy” work and not one that many master painters would take on. However, Shane of Colour Homes didn’t hesitate to provide a very reasonable, detailed written quote and was happy to work with me on it until we were both clear about what was to be undertaken. Shane coordinated his team well so that the whole project was completed within a week with minimal disruption to me. His crew worked happily, on task and very tidily throughout, with Shane regularly checking on the work and always available to answer any questions. I am very happy with result: my house is now weatherproof, looks great and the final very reasonable bill was as quoted. I wouldn’t hesitate to engage Colour Homes again. ~ AP C
I have just had my driveway done by Shane and his workers. The end result is that my driveway has been restored to its former glory!! It had not been touched since the house was new 1998 and now it is looking like brand new again. We did a colour change from dark green to Charcoal a very good colour choice I feel.
